Poverty reduction and sustainable Livelihoods
As we all know that Poverty has many dimensions, CONECE uses different approaches and program interventions to address all these dimensions. Many communities, especially the rural poor in Uganda, depend directly on natural resources for their livelihood. Therefore, for their livelihoods to be sustainable there is a fundamental need that their use of natural resources is sustainable. CONECE supports Livelihood program interventions with the main goal to improve livelihood opportunities of the marginalized communities through Skill Enhancement, Entrepreneurship Development, and support grants Management. The outcomes of interventions in this area are to improve household income, increased well-being, and reduced vulnerability and improved food security.
